As part of the semi-regular-until-the-end-of-the-year Recap Tunnel, I’ll be closing off 2019 with various things and/or reflections from/on the past year. First up is Recap Tunnel: YouTube Video Round-up Part 1 of 2.
The first round is:

Last night I got a phone call from Long & McQuade and it turned out I won a free Yamaha FG800 acoustic guitar!

Making vLogs was always part of my YouTube plan and today marks the release of the first one. More coming. Still deciding on vLogging frequency but don’t worry, I will keep you entertained in the meantime.
On a side note, the Holidays are right around the corner. Did you get something for that superhero and/or monster fan in your life? If not, please visit my Book and Comic Shop for last-minute reading purchases. Thanks.
Welcome to my Inktober 2019 Artwork Video Showcase!
As promised, here is the video showcasing this year’s Inktober efforts.
My Ello account has also been updated to show the three collages created from 31 drawings.
Inktober was completed on schedule, with 31 ink sketches done in 31 days at a rate of one per day. Images were shared each day on social media, with Instagram being where I uploaded them.
Please watch the video below and please subscribe to my YouTube channel so you can ensure you receive notifications of each new video the moment they are uploaded.
My new business cards–printed by Vistaprint–came in along with return address labels for stuff shipping out of Axiom-man Central among other purposes. Take a look at this unboxing video showcase to see the new cards.
Business cards are critical in the art world and I’ve been using them in one way or another since I published my first book back in 2003. I might have even had some before then. I can’t remember. Regardless, it still surprises me when I meet creators at conventions and they don’t have a card so I can follow up with them. Business cards are Publishing 101 so if you don’t have some of your own for whatever you do, better get going on that.

Not long ago, I backed Max West’s Dominic and Claire Fun-Size: Laughter Loaded Comics Digest! Kickstarter. Now my rewards have come in and here is a video of me opening up the package.
Max West is one of my favorite cartoonists and is responsible not only for the Dominic & Claire Funnies and the Dominic & Claire Fun-size, but also the webcomic, Tiffany & Corey, the heartwarming series, Sunnyville Stories, and the vampire graphic novel, Von Herling.
Yesterday, I spent most of the day doing Project Media stuff and some freelancing. This led to me uploading a new video to YouTube showcasing my playing card collection. I had a similar video on my old channel but that video is long gone so I present to you a new and up-to-date video showing all the card decks in my collection.
This morning I scanned all my Inktober 2019 drawings into the computer and got them ready for a video and for three collages. These will be showcased on the blog once they are ready. The collages will also be showcased on social media. I just need to get some music together for the video.
(If you recall, I mentioned I’d be doing this in this blog entry.)

A new video has been uploaded and this time we take a look at the Axiom-man/Auroraman: Frozen Storm paperbacks hot off the press!
Special thanks to local Hignell Book Printing for doing such an amazing job. The quality is outstanding!
Next step: Sign the necessary copies then send them over to Auroraman creator Jeff Burton for his signature. Copies will then be sent out to Kickstarter backers.
If you missed the Kickstarter and would still like a copy, please go here or visit the Frozen Storm thumbnail on the left where the book is available from a retailer of your choice in paperback or eBook.
Thank you for your support on this project.
