The postman came and dropped off copies of THE BATTLE OF POWER TRILOGY from THE AXIOM-MAN SAGA here at the Central the other day.
This is the first superhero fiction series to have a multi-part cover as part of Coscom Entertainment’s effort to break new ground in superhero books with Axiom-man! So cool! Not only did we do the first hardcover lettered edition of a superhero novel ever, now we’re linking covers!
For those who pre-ordered their copies direct at Winnipeg Comic Con, I will contact you shortly for arrangements for drop-off. Yesterday, Sunday morning, I sent the second book in the BATTLE OF POWER Trilogy, AXIOM-MAN: TRANSFORMATIONS, off to the printer. I also uploaded the various eBook versions needed for my eBook distributors (this was talked about in this past weekend’s newsletter).
Already some of the eBook listings have started to pop up online. Once the paperback lists too, then I’ll do an official launch of the book and its delegated page here on the website.
As for the final installment, AXIOM-MAN: NEW DAWN, as of this blog entry I just got it back from the editor so the next task is to go through the edits before beginning the production procedure, which involves a final read-through. The cover art is also done. It just needs the design and layout.
What’s great about a superhero series like this is once your design is settled upon–like in the first book, AXIOM-MAN–you just carry it over to the next then the next, etc. No need to think of new fonts or anything like that except for the title of the adventure, which is quite easy.
Really excited for you guys to read TRANSFORMATIONS. Straight off, I’ll tell you the title is the plot. Ahhh, off to press.

Redsaw has been terrorizing Winnipeg for too long. Worse, Axiom-man has been unable to stop him and Redsaw has used that opportunity to create his own brand of chaos.
Riots fill the streets. Fires break out every day. Looters run rampant and murderers go unpunished.
No one is safe with Redsaw orchestrating it all from the shadows. Hiding. Untraceable. This battle for power can’t go on. As chaos rips the city apart, the cops are overwhelmed and Axiom-man cannot locate his enemy.
Now, not only does Axiom-man have to settle the battle with Redsaw, he also needs to settle the battle within himself. The mask and cape have taken their toll and the cost is rising, especially since Gabriel being Axiom-man is driving a wedge between him and Valerie Vaughan.
The mission is simple: find Redsaw and put an end to his reign of red-powered darkness forever.
There will be a fight, and Axiom-man has to be ready.

If you’re a reader of my newsletter, THE CANISTER X TRANSMISSION, you know there’s a Kickstarter coming up for a very special item, and if you are a newsletter reader, you already know what that item is. (Newsletter readers always get announcements first. An inside perk for being a subscriber.)
I will refrain from public disclosure for the next short bit because today, according to UPS, this item will be arriving here at the Central for inspection. If indeed all is well, expect a formal Kickstarter announcement relatively soon. If things aren’t well, then some more time will be needed hence the quasi-vaguery of this post, but I wanted to give you a heads up that a Kickstarter is on the horizon for March (ideally) otherwise April, depending on when Kickstarter approves the project.
The good part about this upcoming Kickstarter is the item will be produced regardless of outcome. The crowdfunding is intended to be an opportunity to pre-order this item along with other perks otherwise unavailable in the future.
It should also be noted that as of this moment, the plan is to have the item available on both Kickstarter and Indiegogo.
