Got a call from my web provider and some background tasks are being done in terms of this site’s hosting and a bunch of other stuff that’s invisible to you. These changes help me on my end and ultimately lead to a better experience for you on your end. That said, this blog needs to go on hold for up to 10 days for all the computer stuff to run through the various systems and for the Matrix to compensate for the adjustment. All content will remain but a full stop on new content has been advised so I will adhere to that. Once I receive notice these processes are complete, your regular blog programming will resume. Until then, don’t adjust your sets.

Self-care Day
As we continue barreling down the 2020 Timeline of All Things at 1000mph, we also need to remember to take time for self-care, so today will be a half day–or self-care day–because I have an appointment that needs tending to if this middle-aged machine is going to keep bringing you books and comics.
Attention is also being given to the workflow behind the scenes because, I’m learning, I can’t approach this business like I did prior to being ill. Different variables, both internal and external, have created a different climate in which to work.
Some retooling is occuring in order to not wind up bed-ridden again.
Yes, I recognize I sometimes talk a lot of publishing flow here on the blog. This is just me getting my ideas up and processed so I can try a mosaic of things, see if they work, and remove and/or add where needed until the mosaic has some form to it and I’m happy with the image.
Enjoy your weekend. Read some movie reviews.
New issue of The Canister X Transmission ships tomorrow.
See you.

Project Rebuild Notice: Blood of my World Trilogy
Please note my Blood of my World Trilogy (Discovery of Death, Memories of Death, and Life of Death) are the next to be rebuilt.
The current editions will remain in print until we get close to press day on the reissue and then you will be notified of when they are going out of print. Now is a good time to get these first-edition copies in print or eBook before they’re gone for good.
Once the reissue for the Blood of my World Trilogy is complete, the next batch of reissues will be announced.
Note: The word “reissue” and not the plural was used on purpose because these three novellas are being consolidated into one volume when revamped.
Lastly, yesterday I posted a new video about the 1000mph work club. Please go here to check it out and see if you relate to doing a thousand things at once.

vLog – 1000mph Club (Working Method)
I made a video discussing the 1000mph Club which, though commonly used to describe car speed, was also used by Warren Ellis in his newsletter, Orbital Operations, about working at a breakneck pace.
Take a look at the vLog below to see what I said about it. Also, don’t forget to subscribe to stay current on all the latest videos.
Enjoy!
Ps. Have a question for me that you’d like answered in a video? Shoot me an email and I’ll do something up for you. Thanks.

Various Bits from the Net – 021920
Welcome to Various Bits from the Net – 021920.
For those unfamiliar with this segment, it’s just a list of a few items of note from the World Wide Web that I found interesting or thought worth mentioning. Perhaps you’ll agree.
First up, as mentioned last Various Bits segment, friend and fellow cartoonist Max West launched his Kickstarter for Dominic and Claire Circus: A Comics Cavalcade of Chuckles! I put in my pledge and will show you what I got in a video once it comes in. If I didn’t mess up my math, this Kickstarter has 9 days left for you to support Max and his terrific comics. Please show him some love by going here.
Those who know me know I’m a fan of Mark Borchardt, who is most commonly linked to the documentary American Movie, which follows his struggling journey to make his short film, Coven. Mark’s a very kind and smart guy whom I admire (side note: He and I seem to have had similar journeys in the creative field despite practicing different disciplines). This video shows a bit of why I like him and, if you know me, you’ll see which parts he and I line up on.
We got a teaser for Stranger Things Season 4. Only watch if you want a spoiler. (The thumbnail has the spoiler so use this link.)
Lastly, I want to end with a special nod to my friend and fellow superhero author, Frank Dirscherl. He is the creator of The Wraith, a pulp hero in the vein of the Shadow who has multiple books out, comics, and a movie. Frank’s also expanded the merchandising part of The Wraith character, which is quite interesting to watch unfold. Please visit Frank at The Wraith’s lair by going here.
That’s it for Various Bits from the Net – 021920.
See you next time.

First Edition Undead World Trilogy Going Out of Print
First Edition Undead World Trilogy Going Out of Print.
Like I said I would mention when the time came, the first editions of my Undead World Trilogy (Blood of the Dead, Possession of the Dead, Redemption of the Dead) are going out of print as of today. My distributors will be notified and in the case of eBooks, the files will be pulled down. You have maybe a couple days to load up on copies but that’s about it. Please grab them now because this is the last chance. (I will leave the thumbnails up in my Book and Comic Shop until the switch-over when the new ones come out.)
The new editions for all three books in the Undead World Trilogy will be out soon enough and there will be info on the blog when that time comes.
Thank you for supporting these first editions, whether that was back when they first came out or just recently.
Ps. Today, a little secret something for the Behind the Scenes tier on my Patreon page was posted. Go here to check it out. Thanks.

Mild Day in Winnipeg and Goals for the Week
Main goals for the week include: Continue keeping the Project Rebuild wheel in motion, continue work on the new art print I started last week, and some behind-the-scenes stuff connected to my little media machine. I’m sure secondary goals for the week will pop up, but until they do, these items get the focus.
Fairly mild morning here in Winnipeg. We got hit with some real cold weather last week but it’s begun to let up.
Presently drinking coffee and allowing the brain to come on-line for the day.
Tomorrow, a new entry for the behind-the-scenes tier airs on Patreon. Get an inside look at how things work behind the curtain here at Axiom-man Central by going here and joining my Patreon journey. Thanks.

Status Report – 021420
Status Report – 021420:
Busy with the reissues.
The pic above shows the galley proof for the reissue of Blood of the Dead. I broadcasted a picture of it coming off the printer to Instagram yesterday.
The schedule dictates next week is the review for Possession of the Dead.
We’re getting there, people.
All that matters is the endgame, which is the 2020 vision.
The main goal is to do our final year-end review with a smile and a sense of accomplishment.
Thank you for walking the Project Rebuild path with me.

Forthcoming: Audio Editions
As part of the original conception of Project Rebirth, creating audio editions of my work is on the docket. These will occur sometime after this year because the reissues of Project Rebuild and the publishing of new work are priority.
I’ve dabbled in audio before. I recorded the first Axiom-man book many, many years ago as a free download (sorry, I no longer have the files to this and it was pulled from the original distributor many years back). I also recorded a video reading of the first four (I think) chapters of Blood of the Dead, which aired on my old YouTube channel (here’s the new channel). The first bit of Blood of the Dead was also recorded as an audio drama on an old zombie podcast back in the day (it was really cool).
This is the next step for the books once I’m caught up on everything else.
Please accept this blog entry as mere notice that audio editions are on the horizon, but due to the number of books I’ve written and the time it takes to properly record them and package them, audio book releases are still a decent ways off into the future.
But no fear! You can still read all my novels in book form in paperback and eBook by visiting the Book and Comic Shop.
Enjoy your day.
