Join author and artist A.P. Fuchs live at Winnipeg Comic Con 2024 as he takes through a tour of Artist Alley. Starting off at his table then eventually circling back, this tour offers a wonderful insight into the various artists and writers who were at the show entertaining the public. You also get to see some other neat items folks had up for sale. Even a few smiled and waved at the camera. Winnipeg is loaded with friendly creators.
Supporting the independent arts is important. It not only gives you a piece of entertainment, but it gives the creator a boost as well to keep on going and making stuff for you.

This book was a hot seller at the show and Melinda put a lot of work into it. The miracle of this book is the first draft was written in three days as part of a novel writing contest. Of course, it went through revisions and edits after, but getting a first draft out in three days is an impressive feat.

Winnipeg Comic Con is coming up on October 25, 2024, which is one week away from the posting of this video. Wonderful book stock just arrived and author Melinda Marshall and myself want to share the opening of these boxes with you because they contain new titles by both of us!

Things are already underway in terms of 2024’s event schedule. Winnipeg Comic Con is on the list and I’m going to look into FanQuest. As well, plans are slowly in motion for an out-of-town convention in Saskatchewan. I need to consult with my SK creators as to what show(s) they’re doing and which would be the best one to table at.
I might attempt a couple local book signings at the old bookshop but those won’t be for a bit yet. It’s been a long while since I signed at a bookstore.
Announcements will be made as things are locked down. So right we’re in the planning stages for conventions and book signings 2024.

Yesterday, I went to press on GIGANTI-GATOR DEATH MACHINE. Right now the printer is processing the files. My team member and I hit at snag on the eBook side of things so I’m in touch with my printer as to what to do. Hopefully it gets resolved soon. The main thing is the print copies turn out all right for Winnipeg Comic Con at the end of October. I can fiddle with the eBook side of things until then.
Why am I having eBook trouble? It’s simple, really. The old way of how I did things doesn’t work for me anymore so I’m looking into new ways to distribute my eBooks from one central location. An eBook hub, as it were. Eventually all my titles will get migrated over but until then, I’ll be doing this new system with new books going forward.
In other news, I barely slept Monday night, worked yesterday, but got a full night’s sleep last night. Still feeling the cobwebs, however, so I’m going to cut this one short.
I haven’t blogged here in nearly a year, which makes me a hypocrite because I used to stress blogging fairly frequently. Thing is, I fell ill again and had to put a full stop on most things while I recovered. I was able to pick at odds and ends but wasn’t able to get back into the full swing of things.
Over the past few weeks I’ve been as productive as ever and finally brought some book stuff out of the darkness and into the light. I did a lot of work and the following is an update as to where my various projects are at.
In no particular order:
Giganti-gator Death Machine: Triple Feature – with the editor. The Canister X Transmission: Year Four – with the formatter. The Canister X Transmission: The Long Year Five – with the formatter.
Expected release: Summer 2022
Reissues:
Blood of the Dead – with the formatter. Possession of the Dead – with the formatter. Redemption of the Dead – beginning of final proofread. Surprise Project – In pieces but not in a bad way. Just need to assemble everything and write something for it.
Expected release: Fall 2022
The Axiom-man Saga:
The Summoning – to be written soon. Episode No. 4: Transformations – to be written. New Dawn – to be written.
These three Axiom-man books will be written back-to-back because these three stories are The Battle of Power Trilogy, so essentially one story told over three parts. My goal is to have them out by Winnipeg Comic Con in the fall. I know the above looks like a lot and overshooting the year but you have to remember what these projects are and how close each one is to being finished.
Other items:
Fredrikus– I have one episode inked and ready for scanning. The comic is temporarily on the backburner while I finish up the above. The Canister X Transmission: The Very Long Year Six – I plan to resume the newsletter at a later date. I want to wait until I’m fully back up and running so I have something to write to you every week. YouTube – I have a package here at Axiom-man Central that I want to do an unboxing video for so look for that soon. I also plan to make more videos once I’m fully back in the saddle. Canister X – I’ll blog when I can and when I have something to say.
