For the first time in almost 20 years, I took my first vacation. We headed south to visit family. Had good times. Took a ton of pictures. Got lots of rest while also keeping busy sight-seeing. This video contains a bunch of shorts and reels I took while down south.
I wonder what next year will bring . . .

It’s definitely not like other writers’ offices with books everywhere and a computer. It’s also not like your traditional artist studio with the smell of paint on the air and lots of brushes and pens laid out.
When I say in my newsletter I work in a bunker, well, you’ll see that I’m not far off.
My studio was originally going to be a basement bathroom but the previous owners of the house didn’t finish it. They got as far as framing it and marking out on the cement floor what goes where (i.e. the tub here, the toilet there, etc). So, I went out and got a roll of carpet, cut it to size, put it down, then put all my equipment where I wanted it to be. What I forgot to mention in the video is the computer desk I’m using I’ve had since I was about 5 or 6. It’s small, but I’ve made it work and the room is too small to put in something new from IKEA or wherever. Besides, one of the drawers has a sticker on it one of my kids put on it when they were toddlers. Yeah, I’m sentimental like that.
Anyway, this is it, the A.P. Fuchs 2023 Studio Tour. This is where I produce my books and comics and make sure they get out to you.
Hope you dig my little nerd’s nest.

Oregon Vacation Highlight Reels and Shorts Part One
During the first week of August, I took my first vacation in approximately seventeen years. It was much needed as I was very burnt out from working.
My girlfriend (author Melinda Marshall) and I had a great time. We decompressed, got to relax, took in some sights, and even the airport experience and airplane ride (Westjet) was pleasant.
Below are some hightlight reels and shorts from the trip. Hope you enjoy them.

More Oregon Vacation Highlight Reels and Shorts to come. Stay tuned . . .
Here’s a new vLog while staring out onto the Pacific Ocean on the West coast in Lincoln City, Oregon. I had my feet in the water and even took a slurp of it (then spat it out–so salty) just to say I’ve been in–and tasted–both oceans. I saw the Atlantic Ocean in Florida and now the Pacific Ocean in Oregon.
Here are some thoughts while staring out onto the never-ending blue of beautiful water and the white crests of waves.

Well, I caved and got hooked up on TikTok. Already posted some short videos. Will post more but I don’t know how much is too much too often so I’ll regulate it at a moderate pace to start. It’ll be an assortment of things I find amusing plus an emphasis on Pop Culture, of course. BookTok is on the list. I have ideas but it’ll take a while to get through all my books so plenty of content to create and post before needing something new.
These TikTok videos will be different from my YouTube videos as they’re short-short whereas my YouTube videos are 3 to 5 minutes long, roughly.
Once again, I got myself lost on the red planet of Mars, but thought I’d give you an update anyway. Watch the video to find out where things are at with my upcoming webcomic, Fredrikus, as well as the final chapter of Gigantigator Death Machine for Patreon, and more.
Be sure to like and subscribe! More videos on the way!
As always, feel free to contact me with any questions.
For something different, I recorded today’s blog entry on video because I’ve never delivered a Status Report that way before. Please forgive me if I come off–or look–tired or out of it. I am.
