REALM OF HEROES AND MONSTERS: STORY TIME with A.P. FUCHS: S01EP08 – The Split
In this episode, A.P. Fuchs talks about one of everybody’s favorite horror comedies, SHAUN OF THE DEAD, then gets into the underground world of zines, namely the book-a-zines he created a long time ago and is thinking of revisiting.
Come story time, Fuchs reads a piece of Axiom-man flash fiction where our hero thinks about what he’s become.
One night Gabriel Garrison was visited by a nameless messenger who bestowed upon him great power, a power intended for good. Once discovering what this power was and what it enabled him to do, Gabriel became Axiom-man, a symbol of hope in a city that had none.
After exploring the city’s underground in order to get a better feel for the criminal fraternity, Gabriel—under the guise of “Mike”—meets a young woman—Katie—who is more than what she seems. What first starts out as a night of mere surveillance and intelligence-gathering soon forces Gabriel to re-examine his approach to crime fighting, discover his strengths and shortcomings, all while trying to keep up with Katie, who is bent on seeing through her own private crusade. With danger lurking at every turn and Gabriel being forced to keep his identity—and abilities—as Axiom-man a secret, he soon discovers he isn’t the only one hiding something. There are other players at work in the city, those who would soon misuse a secret weapon for their own purposes.
As the clock ticks down and the violence escalates, Gabriel must try and recover the weapon while also keeping Katie safe.

Just showing off some cool beer can art that caught my eye and also a brief message about making a little bit of coin while, more importantly, helping the environment.
And, yes, you have to be over 18 to watch it. I don’t want to be a bad influence on the younglings even though the content is harmless. Alcohol, you know?

Star Wars Episode 1 Action Figure Toy Collection Showcase
These were huge when they came out due to the anticipation for Episode I. I camped out that night by the theatre because the next day tickets would go on sale. We had lightsaber battles and joisting matches in the parking lot. I was dressed as a Jedi and so was my friend. We had a blast. Anyway, I stocked up on these figures and now they adorn the walls of my studio.
Yes, I do collect hotwheels outside of superhero ones. I have always loved muscle cars. Don’t own one but still dig ’em. Maybe one day. In the meantime, I’ll have to satisfy my muscle car desire with little ones.

Nightwing is my second-favorite superhero next to Superman so it’s only fitting I have multiple action figures of the Winged Knight. I’ve been collecting Nightwing comics since about the mid-90s and grabbing Nightwing collectibles whenever I see them.
This video is what I have so far as of September 2023.
