As much as I like to support the little guy, sometimes you have to go to the big chains for your collectibles, and during this trip, we did find a couple things I haven’t seen anywhere else.
Let’s go!

We hit up Dollarama for some collectible shopping! What’s cool is I live in about a 10-block radius of several stores so I do a collectible circuit, so to speak, and see what I can find in my main three collectible catagories: playing cards, action figures, and hotwheels. Let’s go shopping . . . again!

Join me on a fun collectibles shopping trip to everybody’s favorite toy store, Toys “R” Us! We’ve got hot wheels and action figures and some other stuff to reveal. Lots to see. So many Funko Pops! Loads of toys and smiles.

Here is the second batch of my playing cards. These are what I’ve accumulated since the last video, which was a good while ago. Mostly Bicycle decks with some Mavericks and even a pair of decks by Uno!
If you’re a card junkie like me, check this video out. It’ll satisfy your need for hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs.

My boys really got me started on something. Every time I’m in the toy aisle, I’m checking for superhero Hotwheels cars. I mean, the other Hotwheels cars are pretty slick, but being the Pop Culture and superhero nerd that I am, I can’t pass up a good deal on a collectible car.
Here are a few YouTube Batman Batmobile Hotwheels Shorts and Reels shorts showcasing three eras of the batmobiles, with one with a little bling.

As always, if you need me or have video suggestions, you can reach me here.
Here is my introduction to my YouTube Shorts, a new section on my YouTube channel. Playlist below the video. Comment on this post with your own channel and a sentence or two of what it’s about. Might get some new viewers and subscribers.
Be sure to subscribe. Lots of video on deck. Lots of cool Pop Culture stuff along with books and comics!
I’ve been collecting Hotwheels on and off throughout the years. There’s so many of them to collect them all so I always opt for the ones that jump out from the shelf at me.
Here are a couple of short showcase videos showing my Batman and Superman Hotwheels cars.

Here you go, folks, my TikTok introduction video which I finally had time to create. I do hope you subscribe to my channel. What’s cool about TikTok is I can quickly vLog about things, showcase collectibles, promote my books and comics, and just have a good time without going through the longer video production that I normally do for my YouTube videos. (Which, by the way, as of this writing, I have two cool long videos to put together and post so stay tuned.)
So, yeah, here I am on TikTok. Come join the party!
If you need to contact me, as always, use the contact page on this site. Peace.
Edit: When I set up this post, the video showed up fine but when it posted-posted, the video gets cut off. I’m going to leave it up as it’s probably WordPress and the TikTok embed feature working out a few bugs. Hopefully it’ll post in full soon.
Jeff Burton and I are amazed at how much support this project has received. Not only are we closing in on a third funded, but the indie superhero community is behind us in helping get not just the Frozen Storm novel out, but also Auroraman No. 1 (which features a mini-comic at the end that leads into Frozen Storm). We want to thank each and every one of you who has contributed in bringing these projects to life in some way, whether that’s through pledging or social media shares or spreading the word through some other means.
Jeff and I both believe it’s important to bring more Canadian superhero adventures to readers, and doing this Kickstarter is a way in which to accomplish that. As of this writing, there are 26 days left to go. Please take a moment and check out the Kickstarter page for the awesome rewards and tiers this campaign has to offer. Please also consider supporting these projects. Making comics and books is an expensive endeavor and we want to make sure all those we have on board creating the comic and book get properly compensated for their time and effort.
Thank you again to everyone who’s gotten behind us on this. You’re in for a super treat once the rewards start shipping because there’s not only the exciting comic and book, but original art, toys, collectibles, and more.
