Authortube: Should You Listen to Your Editor? | General Best Practice
In the age of new writers emerging all the time and various qualities of work being put out there, sometimes you wonder if an editor was involved or not?
So the question to writers is: Should you listen to your editor?
This video is a general, broadbrush statement on best practice when it comes to this question. Obviously, not all scenarios and specifics could be discussed unless you wanted a twelve-season Blu-ray set. Haha.
The comments are open for discussion regarding certain scenarios or specifics.
Thanks.

There is something different about this world, something familiar. Something that feels like . . . home. With no clue where this red mist brought him, Axiom-man and this crimson stranger are swept into a bizarre hotel where each floor brings a deadly new mission, and to make matters worse, Axiom-man doesn’t have his powers.
Trial upon trial ensues as Axiom-man and a man who calls himself the Crimson Cloak try to survive deadly traps in a building from hell.
Authortube: Beta Readers | An Opinion from a Self-publishing Veteran
Prompted by a Facebook post upon which I was able to give my opinion on beta readers, I decided to make this Authortube video discussing the same and give my answer in video form as well.
Warning, this video might be controversial and you might not agree with what I have to say. That’s fair and that’s your right. This is just the opinion of a self-publishing veteran (22 years) who’s part of the old guard of writers, so to speak.
For those curious, I’ve played the role of author, publisher, and editor. I’ve done deals with New York and abroad. My label was also a traditional publishing house for a time. These items are listed so you know where I’m coming from.
Anyway, please enjoy this old guy’s opinion on beta readers and if a writer should use them or not.

In this video we discuss updates since the last YouTube journey video and talk a bit about how the channel has morphed into one with some set programming on certain days.
I plan to iron out the programming part a bit more so you know which day of the week is what, but in the meantime, we’re doing pretty good with the following:

Authortube: My Book is Not Selling! What Do I Do? | Part Three: The Copycat Method
This particular method of book marketing is very effective because it allows you to take what works and apply it to your own projects. The copycat method is just like it sounds: Copy.
All marketing is based on the copy principle. The “how to copy” is different depending on what you’re marketing, but in this case, we’re talking books and comics–though the principle applies to any product–and how to take things to the next level as you market your book.
Watch this video to find out how to go about it and how to execute the Copycat Method. I won’t lie. It will take some work, but it will be worth it in the end.
