A lot of authors feel overwhelmed when it comes to book cover creation. Whether you hire it out or do it yourself, you know that a good cover will potentially lead to a book’s success. What is a good book cover? What makes one cover stand out from the one next to it? What’s the most important part of a book cover? The image or graphic? The colors?

In this video, 25-year self-publisher A.P. Fuchs reveals the one word that makes or breaks a book cover. One word with three parts. Watch and see. It’s very simple. If you use this one word as your engine for your cover, you will have a good cover.

Authortube: Freelancing: The Follow Up | Manners

So, when to follow up with an employer?

This just happened at the time the video was made. I decided to make the video a little fired up because the arts are all about honesty and honest expression so that’s what you’re getting here.

The same rules of manners regarding the follow up is the same for freelancers as it is for working in the public or private sector. This is it on how to be a professional freelaner.

This is basic stuff. We learned this in kindergarden. I hope you learn something from this video, especially if you’re new to the freelancing world.

Authortube: How to Get Past the Writing Wall | How to Overcome Writer’s Block

Writer’s block hits every writer once in a while. For myself, it only happened once until I figured out how to overcome it. That was over twenty years ago. This authortube video is meant to encourage you and put you in the right headspace to keep the story moving forward despite if you feel blocked. Without proper headspace, you won’t get anywhere anyway. It’s my hope that this video helps set your head on straight so you can continue with your story.

Authortube: The Best Piece of Writing Advice I Ever Got

A long time ago, a fellow author and I were talking about book reviews and how some of them can be so malicious.

During that conversation, my friend said something that would change how I approach writing and producing books from then on forth.

Watch this vLog to hear what he had to say and how it can apply to your own writing or artistic efforts.

Axiom-man vs Axiom-man?

Posted on April 13, 2024 10:27 am by A.P. Fuchs

Axiom-man vs Axiom-man?

Had to check in on something with the distributor and say this! The new Axiom-man release is in the lead in my overall book sales but the 10th Anniversay Special Edition of AXIOM-MAN is a close second. I’m glad people are checking out the first book. I hope I win them over so they check out the rest of this superhero series.

The first edition of AXIOM-MAN was written and published at a time when independent superhero books were not a thing. There was me and maybe five other people publishing their own hero. Now, independent superheroes are everywhere. My hope is THE AXIOM-MAN SAGA can keep up.

If you tuned into this week’s newsletter, you got a quick glimpse at an upcoming event in AXIOM-MAN: THE SUMMONING. Newsletter readers and Patreon patrons always get the news first. A perk of part of being in the club.

Anyway, who from the above will ultimately win? Will newcomer the Crimson Cloak beat out a hero that’s been around for a decade and a half? We’ll soon find out in this Axiom-man vs Axiom-man battle!

Be sure to tune into this blog again. Same Axiom time. Same Axiom channel.

Cheers.
