Funko Friday: Deadpool in Lederhosen and Good Cop Kramer | Funny Funko Pops
To change things up this Funko Friday, let’s take a look at some funny Funko Pops from my collection! Today we have a Deadpool in Lederhosen Funko Pop and a Good Cop Kramer Funko Pop. I did a short reel on the Kramer Funko Pop and you can see it at the end of this video.
Every week a theme. Every week two new Pops! This week was about comedy. Hope you enjoy a little trip down silly lane. Can’t be a serious vinyl figure collector all the time.

The Shot
Episode 5: The Shot – A bad year. A bad everything. Only one thing to do.
Following the fun of doing a flash fiction version of the podcast as A.P. Fuchs had done during Season One, this episode is the same: One big whirlwind of brief story with a punch to the face in the end.
How do you make a podcast show that’s around five minutes long and make it interesting? This is another effort from Fuchs to do so. Did he succeed? Listen and decide for yourself then let him know in the comments.
Enjoy!

Superman Action Figures McFarlane Crisis on Infinite Earths Hot Wheels Showcase (Christmas 2024)
As per usual, we had a SUPER Christmas. I’m the easiest guy to shop for because of my love of Superman and comics. Just throw a few toys and a couple super movies my way and we’re good.
This year we got:

Superman Max Fleischer variant Super Powers action figure
Action Comics Superman action figure from McFarlane Toys
Batman and Robin Hot Wheels Batmobile

I’m very blessed and very thankful. Hope you had a good Christmas as well.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and much blessings this holiday season. I hope Santa is good to you and that you’re surrounded by friends, family, and warmth.
And, if you’re alone, I’m right there with you. So is Superman. He is a friend, after all.
Thank you for joining me this Christmas season and throughout this past year. I hope you had a lot of fun with Pop Culture, action figures, minifigures, hot wheels, Funko Pops, podcasts, vLogs, books, and more!

The Drive
Episode 4: The Drive – Janna visits her old neighborhood and relives some memories. However, she is there for a more deadlier purpose.
On today’s episode, author A.P. Fuchs offers a warm welcome then gets right into Story Before the Story, this time tackling the concept of your own life being a story and how the average human life contains all genres of writing. As well, autobiographers John Porcellino, Eddie Campbell, Harvey Pekar, and others are mentioned as examples of finding the stories in our everyday lives and how story is not limited to a particular medium but is life itself.

Canister X Transmission: Year Seven Almost Finished
YEAR SEVEN for my weekly newsletter, THE CANISTER X TRANSMISSION, will be complete in the next two weeks. There are two issues left in this newsletter year then we’ll be moving onto YEAR EIGHT.
The theme of YEAR SEVEN was fluidity, the idea being there would be no set format for the newsletter and whatever was shared was whatever was shared. Nice and simple. Nothing complicated. That was the goal, at least.
As YEAR EIGHT gets ever closer, I have yet to decide on the format for the new newsletter year. I have some ideas but nothing set in stone. I usually reveal the format of the forthcoming newsletter year in the last issue of the current year and then often do a quick recap at the beginning of the new newsletter year for those just joining us so as to ensure everyone is up to speed and on the same page.
The completion of YEAR SEVEN also means the completion of another Eventual Book (newsletter readers know what these are), so look for the paperback and eBook of YEAR SEVEN in the New Year. Also, remember that each newsletter collection features a bonus issue unavailable through the normal electronic subscription.
Please join us for the tail-end of YEAR SEVEN and get yourself all set up for YEAR EIGHT. Costs nothing. You can subscribe to THE CANISTER X TRANSMISSION by visiting here.
If you’d like to support this free newsletter, please consider leaving a tip via the PayPal link on the this site or by grabbing a copy or two of the previously-published newsletter collections.
THE CANISTER X TRANSMISSION: THE VERY LONG YEAR SIX was the latest release in the series. Please click on the image above to visit the series on Amazon.
Thanks. Hope to see you every Saturday going forward through the newsletter.
Funko Friday: Superman and Batman Bitty Funko Pops
Who says size matters? Not when it comes to superheroes. Big or small, Superman and Batman are the World’s Finest and can take on any threat, sometimes even each other.
Here we have an awesome Batman v Superman armored Batman Bitty Pop along with batmobile as well as a tiny Superman with a Metropolis cityscape.
These Bitty Pops are cute and I got them for a sweet deal right from Funko Direct! (Also got some other ones but I’ll save those for another video.) Whenever I see a Superman Pop, I have to find the best deal to go about getting it, same with the occasional Batman (though Nightwing is my second-favorite superhero).
These are cute.
Hope you enjoy my little magic trick and, of course, a close-up look at these awesome DC Comics Bitty Funko Pops!

Countdown is over. Superman is unleashed. Let’s see what James Gunn has brought to the table.
Reaction video time!

Booktube: Caught in Black Headlights: Poetry Collection Book Spotlight
About CAUGHT IN BLACK HEADLIGHTS:
“A.P. Fuchs’ s Caught in Black Headlights highlights life things, all sorts of things, with a wondrous and unrelenting discernment and a brilliant sense of lyricism.” – John Urbancik, author of Annabel Lee, in Shadow
All right, World, This is how it’s going to be: Rhymes and verse Melodies rehearsed Across life’s rocky sea.
Listen up, Folks, This is how we’re going to play: Thoughts and comments, Displays of indominance, Making the rounds all day.
Read a poem, maybe two, Pick three if you wish to dare. Ramblings and coherence, Sometimes jots of incoherence Anything for poetic flare.
So get some eyes on some words And give the brain a try. You win some. You lose most. But in the end, Solomon said, It’s vapor in the sky.
Enjoy and explore, Please do, I implore. Let’s talk about life bizarre ‘Cause it’s pretty complex stuff Said Harvey Pekar.
