vLog – Action Figure and Funko Pop Collectibles Shopping Trip at Galaxy Comics
and Collectibles!
Join me as I visit Galaxy Comics and Collectibles for some action figures and Funko Pops!
Loads of selection and a ton of stuff from McFarlane Toys. Their comic book selection is also quite good and it is there I get my Nightwing comics from.
This trip’s shopping haul got me the Cyborg Superman Funko Pop Comic Cover and a Nightwing action figure from the New 52.
My girlfriend also cashed in her birthday gift from me so some other goodies were picked up for her, namely a Wonder Woman Funko and a She-Ra Princess of Power Funko.
Fun times. I’ll be back there as usual soon enough.

Lego Minifigure Unboxing | Superman and Krypto, Symbiote Spider-Man, Supergirl,
and Build-a-long!
A whole lot of minifigures and an extra something special came in the other day, so for this Minifigure Monday for something different, we’re doing a Lego unboxing and a mini teaser showcase of the new figures. Focused shorts and reels on each will follow, but I thought it’d be fun to share how they arrive and how they need to be built.
In this video we build Superman and Krypto from the new movie together!
Bottomline: WordPress updated and my site went screwy and, due to time constraints, I was unable to address it straightaway. The blog was visible and accessible to you, but not to me in regards to the back end where the content creation is done and what brings you new posts.
Anyway, after a debacle with my hosting provider, I fixed it myself (but, to be fair, they did provide a link that helped with troubleshooting but, in the end, it was a fix not part of their instruction; whatever).
So this is why the blog hasn’t been updated in a while and content is a bit behind. Please be patient with me as I bring this website back up to speed, but I wanted to drop this note to say we’re back up and running.

Succumb
Episode 26: Succumb – Matt made a deal to do anything for his family. He just didn’t realize the true cost of his bargain and how his tormentor has no plans of letting him go.

Before we head into the realm of horror, in Story Before the Story, A.P. Fuchs discusses the “rewind,” a storytelling item we all do but perhaps not always realize. Some of our life actions mirror how we handle the intake of stories. What’s this all mean? Tune in and find out, then, after, head into a tale where one man’s love for others cost him everything.
As usual, please stick around until after the credits because there’s always one more thing to say.
Peace.

Dragonfly
Episode 25: Dragonfly – Talia is giving Darin the night of his life. Everything is perfect. Everything is amazing. She . . . is amazing, and has a cute dragonfly tattoo. But is there a reason?
Time is flying. Story Time is flying. Season Three is almost at an end and you’ve been wonderful listeners as you’ve been coming along for the ride. Thank you.
This week, in Story Before the Story, A.P. Fuchs questions the unknown, moreso stories of the unknown and how are very limited worldview through the lens of five senses causes us to miss a lot of what’s out there, and even for the stuff we can quantify or explain, there are still stories beyond even that.
Listen and learn.
In Story Time, what was supposed to be a night of pleasure turns into something quite different. Tune in to find out what happens when things are going too good.
Be sure to stick around until after the credits for some thoughts on the upcoming SUPERMAN movie in July 2025!

Bar Fight
Episode 24: Bar Fight – Selena is a bit of a scrapper and an off-night at Dave’s Bar leads to a fight that’s one for the record books. Don’t mess with females!
For the opener, author A.P. Fuchs welcomes you to the show in every which kind of way before dropping some notes on upcoming concepts for the next season or two of Story Time.
In Story Before the Story, Fuchs relays how stories can have a strong impact on our emotions, whether the story is real or imagined. Might seem obvious at first glance, but when you delve in . . . you’re being manipulated. Tune in to see what this all means.
Then it’s off to the main event–Story Time–and, well, things happen when you can’t sleep.
Have a listen, drift off in your imagination, and get in on “Bar Fight.”

vLog – Superman Mego and Indiana Jones Action Figure |
Amazon Screwed Up My Order Big Time!
Being a toy collector is a fun little hobby and something of a game. One of the reasons for the addiction is the thrill of the hunt.
Well, I got in two figures because they were on a real good sale (as per my standard practice for collecting because I’m not made of money) and Amazon sent me garbage.
No, watch the video. It’s garbage.
My Superman: Red Son Mego figure is destroyed and they sold me a used Indiana Jones action figure sealed in packing tape. This is silly and unacceptable. There is such a thing as customer service and customer service isn’t just about assisting the customer when they have an issue. It’s also about assisting the customer on the initial buy, and in this case, simply by selecting a quality NEW product off the shelf versus a beat-up or secondhand version of the same.
This is massively disappointing and most certainly these figures are going back for a refund.
Canister X Mailbag – Superman Kingdom Come Page Punchers Unboxing – May012025
When the Kingdom Come version of Superman was first introduced in the comics famously painted by artist Alex Ross, everyone loved the Man of Steel’s future supersuit. It’s been a staple in comics since and is also the source for the S in James Gunn’s Superman movie.
Kingdom Come Superman was also portrayed by Brandon Routh in Crisis on Infinite Earths in the CW adaptation (which wasn’t an actual adaptation of Kingdom Come comic but did use this version of Kal-El as a multiverse variant). Was happy to see Brandon don the suit again. I wish he had a chance to have his time in the sun but, unfortunately, Superman Returns was poorly written and didn’t do as well as hoped. But Routh was indeed a good Superman.
Anyway, here is McFarlane Toys’s Page Punchers Kingdom Come Superman complete with action figure and comic book.
REALM OF HEROES AND MONSTERS: STORY TIME with A.P. FUCHS: S03EP23 –
Burnt Out
Episode 23: Burnt Out – Writer Peter Fox has simply had enough. He’s tired. Depressed. Wants to keep up but can’t. Perhaps it’s time to write his final story. Perhaps it’s time to say goodbye.
Welcome to the show.
Getting right into it, author and artist A.P. Fuchs talks about how something as simple as your grocery list can also a method of storytelling in Story Before the Story, once again cementing human beings live and breathe stories in everything they do for their entire lives.
Our brains love stories and, as a result, has your entire life all set as one big story with multiple plot points and side quests within that story.
It never ends.
In Story Time, Fuchs gets a little autobio through the lens of fiction, the story about Peter Fox, Fuchs’s pseudonym and author of APRIL and MY ANGEL AND ME.
Tune in.
See you inside.
