vLog – Black Suit Superman Super Powers Action Figure, Rocky Balboa Funko Pop,
Hot Wheels, and More!
Had a great outting on my collectible trip last weekend. Everything happened to be on sale at once so, being a good cheap Winnipeger, I took advantage. Might as well otherwise it’s full retail (or more) later.
We got:
Superman Recovery Suit Super Powers chase action figure

Canister X Mailbag – Superman | Max Fleischer Multiverse Action Figure Unboxing
Loved the Max Fleischer version of Superman when I was a kid. Even have the cartoons now including the Super Powers action figure and the Mego figure. You can even catch a glimpse of Superman in the Fleischer supersuit in Superman and Lois’s first episode.
Such a cool multiverse figure from McFarlane Toys. I knew this figure would eventually be made and the wait was certainly worth it. Smooth features, solid coloring, well-posed, squinty eyes . . . . Perfect for the Man of Steel from Krypton.
Check out this fast unboxing video for a look at this amazing toy.
Superman Max Fleischer multiverse action figure is available on Amazon here.

REALM OF HEROES AND MONSTERS: STORY TIME with A.P. FUCHS: S03EP22 –
Dear Mom
Episode 22: Dear Mom – Mack is only eleven . . . and it’s time to leave home. You see, Earth was never really his home. Just for a while, and now it’s time to say goodbye.
This episode is brought to you by the letters A, P, and F, from your host, A.P. Fuchs.
Before Fuchs dives into Story Time, in Story Before the Story Fuchs discusses the stories of animals, whether pets or in the wild, stories only they can experience because they’re outside human understanding.
Stories are everywhere and they don’t just involve humans.
Tune in.
Please stick around for after the credits for a little extra as per podcast episode tradition.
Thanks.

Inferno
Episode 21: Inferno – Wes and his fellow firefighters try to stave off a flaming inferno as a house burns to the ground. The problem? A kid’s still trapped inside the whole house is about to come down.
Things head into full gear when A.P. Fuchs welcomes you to the show and starts talking about what’s to come.
In Story Before the Story, the concept of “write what you know” is taken to another level, the demonstration being you’re writing what you know in a discreet way even to yourself. Subconscious knowledge. Subconscious stories. Subconscious writing what you know.
In Story Time, the heat gets turned up as a daring firefighter seeks to rescue a child amidst the flames. Thing is, the effort can only go one of two ways and the heat is on.
Thank you for joining this week’s podcast episode.
Another coming your way in seven days.
Be there.

World War V
Episode 20: World War V – Wolfgang Scholz and Von Hilder are in the war of their lives against a deadly, unstoppable enemy. One that is immortal and has fangs.
Welcome to a new episode of Story Time! After the usual intro–and the last with a big beard–A.P. Fuchs gets into Story Before the Story and plays into the classic old saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” But this time, there’s a little more to it than that. Story is everywhere, even in pictures. So let’s travel back in time to when film was the camera’s currency of the day before everything went digital.
Then, of course, things get messy in war against the undead in Story Time with World War V!
Check it out.

REALM OF HEROES AND MONSTERS: STORY TIME with A.P. FUCHS: S03EP19 – (Re)creation
Episode 19: (Re)creation – Curt Maxim firmly believes superhero origin stories are true. In this tale, he puts that belief to the test in an unusual way.
Welcome to THE REALM OF HEROES AND MONSTERS: STORY TIME with A.P. FUCHS! This week was a fun episode to record and before we head into a superhero origin story, in Story Before the Story, Fuchs tackles the news and how, sadly, it’s all just another batch of stories that may or may not be true.
More to come as we head through Season Three!
Thank you for tuning in this week!
Gracias.

Holo-writer
Episode 18: Holo-writer – A writer with writer’s block. A girl of comfort. This writer is not what he seems and loves another lady.
Welcome back to Story Time with A.P. Fuchs! After the greeting from under the yellow light, Fuchs dives into Story Before the Story and talks about the secret stories going on on our planet. The ones that go unseen and are never witnessed by anyone, because, again, everyday life is made up of stories. All the time. All day. All year.
Please stick around for after the credits for a special ask.
Peace.

Daffodil Girl
Episode 17: Daffodil Girl – A man. A girl. A daffodil. A haunting truth.
Welcome to Story Time with A.P. Fuchs! On today’s episode, you get a little friendly hello and then it’s right into Story Before Story where a question is posed: How much of your life is true? Reflex answer is always, “All of it.” But is it really? Tune in to find out why you might be mistaken, and how it all feeds into this season’s exploration into the concept that everything in your life is Story, all day, all night, all the time.
On a personal note: Thank you for sticking around for 17 episodes thus far. Pretty sure this season ends at Episode 30 so we’re over halfway there. Not that we’re racing to the finish line, but just to say, “Thanks for coming along the journey to this point.”
Enjoy.

Scenarios
Episode 16: Scenarios – On her way home from work in a dingey neighborhood, Susie stumbles across some things that seem out of place and seem to have come to a grisly end.
Welcome, one and all, to a fresh episode of Story Time with A.P. Fuchs.
After welcoming you to the show, Fuchs gets into Story Before the Story and touches on an Authortube video he released earlier in the week which answered the question, What is purple prose? Tune in to see how this faux pas of fiction plays into real life.
As well, there is a special after-the-credits sequence that poses an interesting question and something worth doing a bit of digging on because if it’s true, it’s quite remarkable, and if it’s false, it’s still remarkable in the context presented.
I know, lots of mystery, right?
Only one way to find out what’s what and that’s by tuning in!
See you at the show.

You might have heard the term from seasoned writers or those just beginning. You might have even heard the term from your English teacher–but what is it?
Well, it has a boring definition with boring examples so in this video we cut to the heart of it and explain it simply and easily and how to avoid this writing crime.
