To change things up this Funko Friday, let’s take a look at some funny Funko Pops from my collection! Today we have a Deadpool in Lederhosen Funko Pop and a Good Cop Kramer Funko Pop. I did a short reel on the Kramer Funko Pop and you can see it at the end of this video.
Every week a theme. Every week two new Pops! This week was about comedy. Hope you enjoy a little trip down silly lane. Can’t be a serious vinyl figure collector all the time.
Superman Action Figures McFarlane Crisis on Infinite Earths Hot Wheels Showcase (Christmas 2024)
As per usual, we had a SUPER Christmas. I’m the easiest guy to shop for because of my love of Superman and comics. Just throw a few toys and a couple super movies my way and we’re good.
This year we got:
Superman S logo napping blanket
Superman Max Fleischer variant Super Powers action figure
Action Comics Superman action figure from McFarlane Toys
Batman and Robin Hot Wheels Batmobile
Playing Card Hot Wheels King Kuda
Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 1 and 2
I’m very blessed and very thankful. Hope you had a good Christmas as well.
Funko Friday: Superman and Batman Bitty Funko Pops
Who says size matters? Not when it comes to superheroes. Big or small, Superman and Batman are the World’s Finest and can take on any threat, sometimes even each other.
Here we have an awesome Batman v Superman armored Batman Bitty Pop along with batmobile as well as a tiny Superman with a Metropolis cityscape.
These Bitty Pops are cute and I got them for a sweet deal right from Funko Direct! (Also got some other ones but I’ll save those for another video.) Whenever I see a Superman Pop, I have to find the best deal to go about getting it, same with the occasional Batman (though Nightwing is my second-favorite superhero).
These are cute.
Hope you enjoy my little magic trick and, of course, a close-up look at these awesome DC Comics Bitty Funko Pops!

Thank you for watching Axiom-man TV and these Superman and Batman Bitty Funko Pops!
Black and white has always been a thing for me when it comes to comics. As a comic creator, obviously color isn’t added until later in the process. In today’s coloring efforts on most comic books, the colors tend to take away from the line art. However, comics that are created specifically for black and white show that even though you’re only using two tones (sometimes three if you want to include gray), a tremendous amount of art details can make you forget color is absent and, in fact, prove the piece is better in black and white than in color.
I’ve always maintained that a properly-done black and white mainstream superhero comic, like Superman, would work. As important and iconic the red, blue, and yellow is, to do a series where those colors were absent would make for a unique Superman comic-reading experience.
These two Funko Pops are awesome because they are in black and white (mostly). Even as Pops, they demonstrate black and white works well for the Man of Steel. All we need is a good story where black and white fits and we have something. In the meantime, please enjoy this video of two awesome black and white Superman Funko Pops!
Cheers.

Part of Funko’s Comic Covers line, these two Pops have a special place in my collection. I don’t buy these larger Pops often. In fact, as of this video, these are the only two I have . . . but I’m always keeping an eye out.
We had to get Superman from Action Comics No. 1. It’s where it all started, and to see Superman is his classic original costume is always a treat. As for Amazing Spider-Man No. 252, and if you’ve been watching the channel, then you know I have a thing for superheroes in black suits and Spider-Man is no exception especially since he’s the flagship character for Marvel.
Funko Friday: Batman Beyond and Nightwing Gotham Knights Funko Pops
This episode of Funko Friday is all about the black suit. It’s one thing to design a Funko that has color as part of the character’s outfit, another when all they wear is mostly black. Details still need to be added otherwise it’d be a boring Pop. Today we look at two black-suited superheroes, Batman Beyond and Nightwing. Two black suits. Two sets of details. Two awesome Funko Pops!
Funko Friday: Michael Keaton Batman and Jack Nicholson Joker Funko Pops
Summer of 1989. Bat-mania everywhere. It was a magical time for a superhero movie especially since nothing serious for the genre came out since Superman II. While Superman IV ran in 1987, it wasn’ a very serious take on Superman so when Batman came out in 1989 and was a first effort in capturing the darkness of the Dark Knight, it was a really big deal. Like, huge.
Tim Burton, Michael Keaton, and Jack Nicholson created something special and it certainly was a massive part of my childhood.
The Batman and Joker Funko Pops in this video are my personal little callback to that era and a chance to be a kid again.
Canister X Mailbag – 1989 Batman Batwing Lamp Unboxing – Nov102024
Check out this awesome Batman 1989 batwing lamp! I got this as a birthday present from my kids. Means the world to me and I’m so grateful for having such thoughtful and amazing children. Plus, they know my love for Michael Keaton’s Batman so I guess they get some extra in the will haha.
This batwing is just like the one featured in the movie, details and all. And, of course, the ability to make the iconic batwing against the moon scene from the movie. It’s in this video so check it out!
Funko Friday: Winnipeg Comic Con Funko Pop Haul! Superman and He-Man |
Super Awesome Pops!
Winnipeg Comic Con 2024 was a blast. I tabled in Artist Alley and shared my books of superheroes and monsters with people of all ages. The Axiom-man superhero books and the Zomtropolis zombie book were bestsellers.
Winnipeg is really great at supporting the arts so, thank you, hometown.
While we were there, of course we did a little shopping and found these five wicked Funko Pops! for well below their value. We’re talking old-school black and white Superman never mind the He-Man was I after. (You guys might have decent pricing in the States but here in Canada some of this run-of-the-mill stuff costs way extra.)
Please check out this video for a Funko good time and check out this Funko Pop Haul!

Live Stream No. 4: Winnipeg Comic Con 2024 Artist Alley Tour!
Join author and artist A.P. Fuchs live at Winnipeg Comic Con 2024 as he takes through a tour of Artist Alley. Starting off at his table then eventually circling back, this tour offers a wonderful insight into the various artists and writers who were at the show entertaining the public. You also get to see some other neat items folks had up for sale. Even a few smiled and waved at the camera. Winnipeg is loaded with friendly creators.
Supporting the independent arts is important. It not only gives you a piece of entertainment, but it gives the creator a boost as well to keep on going and making stuff for you.
Check everything from superheroes to horror to independent comics and creators, to authors and books, and, of course, some fun Pop Culture fandom.
