Canister X Mailbag – Spoiler Funko Pop! Unboxing – 10122024
I collected the Robin comic books series back when Tim Drake was the star. Spoiler was a fantastic character and a Robin to his, er, Robin. But she also held her own and even held him in check at times. Of course, there was the romantic tension between them and while they were shy–they were teens, after all–they both knew they had it bad for the other person.
When they made this Funko Pop, I had to have one to go along with my Robin, Batman, and Nightwing as part of the bat-family. Welcome aboard the Funko ship, Spoiler!
Last week I launched my latest Pop Culture collectible YouTube effort: Lego Minifigure Monday! This is to compliment Funko Friday.
I love Lego minifigures. I mean, who doesn’t? And I found a supply source that doesn’t crush my bank account so for the past while I’ve been ordering up all sorts of Pop Culture Lego figures like Superman, Batman, Nightwing, Spider-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, and more!
First short reel aired last week and Clark Kent got the spotlight and the debut. Check it out below.
Today, the second one is Christopher Reeve Superman or classic Superman.
Check this bad boy out! I mean, Superboy.
More next week. And yet more in the weeks to come. Be sure to check out my YouTube channel once a week for a new figure.
These are shorts and reels so they don’t get the same attention on the blog as the full-length videos so be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss an episode of Lego Minifigure Monday!
Funko Friday: Superman and Batman and He-Man Fusion Funko Pops
What we have here are two very special figures. Technically three, if you count one of them twice. The Superman and Batman amalgamation done by DC Comics (which they do now and then with the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight) looks amazing. There is an action figure counterpart from McFarlane Toys so that’s on the list as well.
And finally, oh so finally, this Funko Pop collector got himself a Masters of the Universe He-Man, power sword and all. He looks fantastic and I’m thrilled to have him alongside his Funko Pop pin.
Shorts and reels were done for these two Pops but I wanted to a Funko Friday with them as well.
vLog – Action Figure Shopping Trip Toy Haul (and more Hotwheels)
There was one particular item I was after this trip to Dollarama and that was getting Princess Buttercup. I have the Dread Pirate Roberts and he needed his princess. We also happened across a few other goodies at a couple other local places, namely the Toony Comic Superman for cheaper than Amazon (who screwed up the order thrice) and a Wave 1 Super Powers Flash action figure. Then, of course, hotwheels because them diecast cars are what we collect around here.
So, the toy haul:
The Flash (McFarlane Super Powers Wave 1)
Princess Buttercup (McFarlane)
Toony Comics Superman
An El Camino
A couple Day of the Dead muscle cars
I don’t do trips like these often, but when I do, I always make sure everything is obtained at a deal.
Funko Friday: Green Lantern and Geoffrey Toys R Us Superman Funko Pops
For something different this week, we take a look at a couple one-off Funko Pops, the Pops I collect because I like the character but don’t need to have every single version of them. In today’s case, we have Kyle Rayner Green Lantern and Geoffrey from Toys R Us as Superman. That last one was a hard find but I got it for a deal and it even came with a Funko Pop protector case! How cool is that?
vLog – Action Figure Shopping Trip Toy Haul (and some Matchbox and Hotwheels)
This was a good collectibles shopping trip. It happened to be one of those occasions where everything was on sale. Yeah, it involved a little bit of indulgence of the wallet but these are action figures I would have bought at some point anyway and, when that point would come, might be stuck paying full price or more for so had to take advantage of the sale.
REALM OF HEROES AND MONSTERS: STORY TIME with A.P. FUCHS: S02EP11 –
Something Rotten Up North
Episode 11: Something Rotten Up North – When Axiom-man is notified of the dead coming back to life in Flin Flon, Manitoba, he takes flight and heads north to verify the terrible news. Upon his arrival, he is greeted by hordes of the walking dead. As he struggles to fight them and search for survivors, Axiom-man soon discovers the problem is far worse than he thought.
This episode is the pinnacle of Heroes and Monsters because this time we have Axiom-man facing off against zombies. Now, he’s done it before in THE DEAD LAND (stick around until after the credits for more on this book) but I wanted to have him fight the undead again, so this little publisher had a brainwave of an idea and assembled a group of indie writers who had superhero creations of their own. The rules? None, other than it had to be your superhero versus at least one zombie. What came in for stories was amazing and so the anthology, METAHUMANS VS THE UNDEAD was born, as was the METAHUMANS VS series.
Tune into this exciting episode of superhero and monster mayhem with A.P. Fuchs!
Thanks for listening.
Cheers!

The latest and hottest in Axiom-man superhero collectibles is here! This special coin is gorgeous. The polish is so clean that, like in the video, it’s almost transparent despite being a shiny gold. Check out the detail and the amazing stamping and mintage of the coin.
This is a special high-end collector’s item and is available for direct order.
As we gaze together out onto the water and the camera drifts around, we take a few moments to reflect on superheroes and if they have the ability to truly get away from it all. This writer believes they can’t and is discussed in this vLog.
But besides that, who doesn’t like some relaxing scenery footage? (Ignore the wind. I’m not in charge of it lol.)
Enjoy.
