Possession of the Dead Book Spotlight

Angels.

Demons.

Giant Zombies.

Things have changed.

Ever since returning through the Storm of Skulls to the present day, Joe, Billie and August have discovered the world they now inhabit, is not the world they left behind. The zombie threat has evolved to gargantuan proportions. Now aided by giant undead—massive monsters with phenomenal strength and power, with deadly appetites just as vast—the zombie population moves to devour any and all life.

Separated from his friends, Joe learns that not all hope is lost for humanity when he meets, Tracy, a woman who exudes a strength to rival his own. Tracy brings him to the Hub, an underground sanctuary where life continues in a dead world, but his thoughts linger on his missing friends.

August and Billie have problems of their own, and soon learn the same plight that affected a past friend of theirs now affects many: zombies with shapeshifting capability. Now, anyone is suspect. Yet even with this newfound knowledge, more is heaped upon them when the agenda of the undead is revealed and humanity is the one caught in the crossfire.

A war is raging, one between angels and demons, monsters and man.

And it’s only escalating.

Axiom-man: Something Rotten Up North (Short Story):

When Axiom-man is notified of the dead coming back to life in Flin Flon, Manitoba, he takes flight and heads north to verify the terrible news. Upon his arrival, he is greeted by hordes of the walking dead and wonders if this outbreak is tied to his visit to a parallel Earth where the undead had replaced the living. As he struggles to combat the undead and search for survivors, Axiom-man soon discovers the problem is far worse than he thought.

Mr. Jitterbones (Short Story):

It is 1889, one year after the Ripper murders plagued London’s East End.

It’s Hallowe’en and homeless man Jack McClay is preparing to hand out treats to the poor children that wander the city streets. But like last autumn, something sinister lurks in the dark and this particular creature is out for one thing: blood, and it doesn’t care where it gets it. The creature appears . . . and it’s all skin and bones.

Bodies litter the sand of a friendly beach. They have no muscles. No bones. They are just bags of skin.

And they are alive.

Axiom-man flies down to Florida to investigate only to discover this isn’t your average series of murders. Something else caused the deaths of these innocent people, and something else has caused them to rise.

Something unnatural, perhaps even supernatural.

Something . . . from beneath the ocean’s black water.
