Episode 26: Mercy – Axiom-man confronts a man who slaughtered his family and has to make the difficult decision as to how to bring about justice.

In today’s episode, Fuchs talks about the superhero dillema of whether or not killing is acceptable in certain situations. It’s a choice every superhero must make while they go about their crusade. Fuchs then dives into the serious question of whether you could commit such an act if needed, but more specifically, what do you do with it after. Toward the end, A.P. Fuchs briefly discusses the Story Time podcast the wrapping up Season 1.

Then we head into story time with a superhero faced with a tough choice.

Episode 25: The Text – A texting-based communication between X and J prior to a secret mission.

In this episode, A.P. Fuchs talks superhero motivations and what those really look like and how it can be a challenge for creators to come up with a plausible and believable motivation for their heroic character. Supervillains get a little more leeway because they’re generally crazy or have some kind of disorder, but the superhero motivation is looked at and ends with a summarizing statement Alan Moore once said regarding superhero motivations. After that, Fuchs gives a quick update on where his books are at in the publication process then heads right into story time, which is an experimental piece of flash fiction told in texting back-and-forth format.
