It’s a work-in-progress but all episodes of the REALM AND HEROES: STORY TIME podcast with A.P. FUCHS are now being uploaded to Patreon with free access to all. The feed also syncs with Spotify, if that’s your podcast venue.

As you can see, the writing life is just like the movies. I have an assistant, a publisher ringing my phone off the hook because I’m late on deadline and they need the manuscript ASAP, stacks of notebooks and looms of paper. Books line the walls and typewriters and pens litter the table.
But if you squint your eyes just the right way, you’ll see the truth about a writer writing. This is how I bring you stories. This is where the work is done.
This . . . is writing Axiom-man.

It so happened that on Sunday morning I woke up about 2:30AM fully rested. I tried going back to sleep but no success so I got up, made some coffee, and headed down to the studio.
Middle of the night.
Podcast recording. Episode 9 of Season 2.
There was something peaceful about recording in a silent house without risk of anything happening that would require my attention. And it was especially helpful for podcast creation but each episode takes about an hour to record then, including processing time, another 3 hours for digital work, rendering, and upload.
Often, my recording and creation is on a clock. Sunday morning, it wasn’t.
Grateful.
This midnight recording was special.

Episode 5: Axiom-man: Black Water – Bodies litter the sand of a friendly beach. Axiom-man flies down to Florida to investigate only to discover this isn’t your average series of murders. Something else caused the deaths of these innocent people, and something else has caused them to rise.
Something unnatural, perhaps even supernatural.
Something . . . from beneath the ocean’s black water.
We change things up this episode and grant you a superhero short story with some monsters!
