REALM OF HEROES AND MONSTERS: STORY TIME with A.P. FUCHS: S02EP21 Season Two Podcast Finale –
Mr. Jitterbones
Episode 21: Mr. Jitterbones – It is 1889, one year after the Ripper murders plagued London’s East End. It’s Hallowe’en and homeless man Jack McClay is preparing to hand out treats to the poor children that wander the city streets. But like last autumn, something sinister lurks in the dark, and this particular creature is out for one thing: blood, and it doesn’t care where it gets it. The creature appears . . . and it’s all skin and bones. Clik-clakity-clak-clak. Mr. Jitterbones has arrived.
This is it! Welcome to the Season Two finale of the Realm of Heroes and Monsters: Story Time podcast with A.P. Fuchs. That’s two seasons in the can. Done and done. But none of it could have been done without you, dear listener, so thank you.
It’s my sincere hope you enjoyed this second season of short stories, both creepy and heroic. Monsters and heroes reign supreme here so I hope you were satisfied with what was delivered.
If you’re just tuning in now or have been sporadically throughout this past season, please go ahead and take a look at all previous episodes and pick out some that tickle your fancy and have a listen.
To celebrate the end of Season Two, this is an extended episode and there is a very special performance after the credits so stick around for that. If you’re into the Spoken Word artform, you’ll dig it.
Thank you again for tuning in this season. It is much appreciated, and don’t worry, there is more to come . . . in Season Three.
Yours,
A.P. Fuchs

My name is A.P. Fuchs and welcome to my blog where superheroes and monsters and Pop Culture reign supreme. I’m an independent writer, cartoonist, publisher, and freelancer in the worlds of books and comics, and have been so for the past twenty-five years. This is Canister X, my official web site and the Realm of Heroes and Monsters, where we’re in summer mode in terms of content.
Summer mode will continue until the Axiom-man books in the BATTLE OF POWER Trilogy are off to press as creative stuff like that gets priority, but it’s going to follow the theme of the CANISTER X TRANSMISSION: YEAR SEVEN of fluidity. We’re gonna play it nice and loose.
My Patreon page is here. It’s a very important place where I post serial novels, serial comics, essays and articles on the creative arts business, behind-the-scenes insights, art, photos, and more. Join me and my other patrons and be a part of something entertaining and interesting with consistent content. Check out the slick trailer for the page.
I’m also the writer/artist behind the webcomic, Fredrikus, which you can read from the beginning here.
On Saturdays, I send out my newsletter, The Canister X Transmission. It’s a weekly newsletter where we all come together after the week, take a breather, regroup, and head into the weekend. Presently, we are in Year Seven. Join me and my readers and fans of fandom. I love the fan community as it’s a wonderful group of people to be part of, both physically and virtually.

Episode 18: Landfill Buffet – A man awakens in a forgotten corner of a garbage dump with a massive refrigerator pinning him from the waist down, trapped. The stench. The disease. The putrid stink of rotting trash. Worse, he’s not alone. Something squeaks . . . and it isn’t a mouse.
Shaking things up a bit, in this episode Fuchs gives a horror story with killer rats and no way out. All it takes is a nibble for them to get a taste for human flesh. A fun horror story and a nice switch-up from your standard monster stories. Fuchs gives a little insight into the tale in Story Behind the Story then has a special message just for you, dear listener, after the credits.
Thanks for tuning in to this shadowy, smelly tale of desperation.
