vLog – Black Suit Superman Super Powers Action Figure, Rocky Balboa Funko Pop,
Hot Wheels, and More!
Had a great outting on my collectible trip last weekend. Everything happened to be on sale at once so, being a good cheap Winnipeger, I took advantage. Might as well otherwise it’s full retail (or more) later.
We got:
Superman Recovery Suit Super Powers chase action figure

Canister X Mailbag – Superman | Max Fleischer Multiverse Action Figure Unboxing
Loved the Max Fleischer version of Superman when I was a kid. Even have the cartoons now including the Super Powers action figure and the Mego figure. You can even catch a glimpse of Superman in the Fleischer supersuit in Superman and Lois’s first episode.
Such a cool multiverse figure from McFarlane Toys. I knew this figure would eventually be made and the wait was certainly worth it. Smooth features, solid coloring, well-posed, squinty eyes . . . . Perfect for the Man of Steel from Krypton.
Check out this fast unboxing video for a look at this amazing toy.

Superman the Man of Steel in TWO different Funko Pop Comic Covers. One is from Action Comics No. 644 and other is from Justice League of America No. 217.
These are really cool Pops! and are both unique in their own way. The grayscale Superman with all the shadows is swell, and the Superman in his classic red and blue tights and in flight? Super awesome!
The Justice League Funko is a Funko Exclusive. Really happy to have it and see Superman getting a bunch of different Comic Cover editions.
Canister X Mailbag – Vampire Nightwing, Crisis on Infinite Earths,
M3Pro MetaQuest Battery Unboxing – Feb092025
This vampire Nightwing was bought on a deal and is my first superhero-monster hybrid action figure from the DC versus Vampires toy line. Very cool. As well, using some Christmas money, I picked up CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS Part 3 as the first two installments were also Christmas presents. Finally, we got the M3 Pro battery for MetaQuest VR. This is a belated Christmas gift to my kids due to some mix-ups over the holidays.
These are all cool items. There’s a vampire Superman on the to-buy list but this collector is waiting for the right time to purchase. This Nightwing figure will definitely be featured in a short reel for a closer look.
Funko Friday: Star Wars | The Mandalorian Funko Pops Big and Small
Here ya go! Big Funko Pop! Small Funko Pop! All Mandalorian from Star Wars! I love this character and when I pre-ordered the big one, I had no idea it would be as big as it actually was. It was a fun and pleasant surprise. The detail of both Mando and the N1 Starfighter are amazing and so is the droid R5-D4. He looks real good, too.
Awesome.
Hope you enjoy this big Funko to small Funko comparison!
Thanks for checking out these Funko Pops!
The Mandalorian in N1 Starfighter Funko Pop on Amazon.
This Superman 1978 Page Punchers action figure was on pre-order and, unfortunately, it sold out before they could get to my order. So I kept an eye on the listing and eventually it was available again, and not only that, it was on sale for a decent amount. I placed my order and the next day the price went back up to retail so I’m happy about the savings. Kind of reward for having to wait for fresh stock.
I’m so glad DC Comics is carrying on Christopher Reeve’s Superman legacy with the Superman 1978 comic book. The man did a lot for humanity both on and off the screen so deserves to be remembered. Besides, he was the Man of Steel from my childhood so will always have a special place in my heart.
This action figure is colored like a comic book because that’s the point of it: Creating a figure from off the page. McFarlane Toys did an excellent job. Even the face looks like Christopher Reeve. Well done!
I’m really pumped to have this.

This 12″ Nightwing action figure was a bit of a trick to get, as you will see in the video. The first time around, Amazon got the order wrong and sent the wrong figure. I was hesitant to try again, thinking maybe the folks in the warehouse had only the Stealth Armor Nightwing (which looks almost identical) instead of this regular one so were sending that as “good enough.” Well, “good enough” doesn’t work for this collector so a gamble was taken and, fortunately, it was a win.
This figure now matches my other, which is Nightwing in his red and black outfit. It’s the same figure, just with a different color, but I’m a completist on certain things so had to have both. I’m sure my fellow Wingnuts would understand.
If you’d like one of your own, you can grab one off Amazon here.

Funko Friday: Star Wars | The Mandalorian Funko Pops
I’m a huge fan of The Mandalorian. As far as sci-fi Funko Pop! collecting goes, this Star Wars character is my Superman. Besides collecting the Pops! I collect some of the action figures as well.
Really looking forward to THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU when it comes out. Pedro Pascal nails the role, and what makes the role difficult is you never see his face so all the acting has to be done through body language besides tone of words. Like V from V FOR VENDETTA. Dig it.
Are you into the Mandalorian? If not, get on board because it’s good stuff airing on Disney Plus. No, really, you need to take a look.
Go.
Thanks for checking out these Mandalorian Funko Pops!
Funko Friday: 1978 Superman and 1989 Batman Rewind Funko Pops
These rewind Funko Pops! are a great idea. Truly a nostalgia thing but, man, does it work. What we have here are the two masters of being Superman and Batman from my childhood (I would still argue they are held in the same regard today in terms of truly embodying the character).
I’m an in-package collector so apologies for not opening them up. However, we do get a good look at the Funkos by seeing them on the back. Will I open them one day? Maybe, but until then, let’s enjoy what we’ve got.
Christopher Reeve was, and still is, the ultimate portrayal of Superman. Micheal Keaton nailed it as both Batman and Bruce Wayne and set the tone for all other Batman movies to come (excluding Batman Forever and Batman and Robin but, to be fair, the overall costume design was carried through those movies).
It was wonderful to see Keaton return as Batman in The Flash. I wish Christopher Reeve was still with us. Had things not gone as they had, I’m sure he would have gladly participated in the current wave of superhero movies and TV shows as Superman in some capacity. His willingness to further the Superman mythos was demonstrated by his couple of cameos on Smallville.
Funko Friday: Deadpool in Lederhosen and Good Cop Kramer | Funny Funko Pops
To change things up this Funko Friday, let’s take a look at some funny Funko Pops from my collection! Today we have a Deadpool in Lederhosen Funko Pop and a Good Cop Kramer Funko Pop. I did a short reel on the Kramer Funko Pop and you can see it at the end of this video.
Every week a theme. Every week two new Pops! This week was about comedy. Hope you enjoy a little trip down silly lane. Can’t be a serious vinyl figure collector all the time.
