Authortube: Every Writer Should Listen to Eminem (Opinion)
Turns of phrase. Manipulation of words. Writing beats and pacing. Take a concept and tell it once then spin it around and tell it again. There are so many versions of wordplay out there and it is every writer’s duty to play with those words if they want to bring their writing up a level or three.
A.P. Fuchs is of the opinion that every writer should listen to Eminem at least once. The man is a master at lyrics, poetry, flips of script and turns of phrase. Plenty of lessons about wordplay and pacing can be obtained by listening to his music.
