You might have heard the term from seasoned writers or those just beginning. You might have even heard the term from your English teacher–but what is it?
Well, it has a boring definition with boring examples so in this video we cut to the heart of it and explain it simply and easily and how to avoid this writing crime.

Welcome back to the Story Time podcast episode where you get a short story each week. This year we’re doing flash fiction as we did in Season One and we’re coming up on the halfway point of the season. Time flies.
After a hello and welcome, author and artist A.P. Fuchs delves into Story Before the Story and discusses how our online personas dictate what kind of character we are in the narrative of life and, more specifically, it’s something you initiate whether you know it or not and become a slice of fiction to others.
Then, of course, it’s right into Story Time with a superhero origin that’s a little unusual. Tune in.
Thank you for listening.
See you next week.

Portraits
Episode 12: Portraits – A famous horror convention artist has a dark way of conjuring up his pictures of vampires, zombies, and werewolves . . . and it’s not just about how he uses the paint.
Welcome back to Story Time! Good to have you. After a friendly hello, A.P. Fuchs talks how we’re fed stories from others in our everyday lives and how, during the process, we begin writing one of our own to go along with the tale being told.
Life is story. Your life. My life. Their life. There is no other way around it.
As well, after the credits is a little announcement about something coming up in [ideally] March 2025. Tune in to find out what that is because it’s exciting times!

Superman the Man of Steel in TWO different Funko Pop Comic Covers. One is from Action Comics No. 644 and other is from Justice League of America No. 217.
These are really cool Pops! and are both unique in their own way. The grayscale Superman with all the shadows is swell, and the Superman in his classic red and blue tights and in flight? Super awesome!
The Justice League Funko is a Funko Exclusive. Really happy to have it and see Superman getting a bunch of different Comic Cover editions.
Canister X Mailbag – Vampire Nightwing, Crisis on Infinite Earths,
M3Pro MetaQuest Battery Unboxing – Feb092025
This vampire Nightwing was bought on a deal and is my first superhero-monster hybrid action figure from the DC versus Vampires toy line. Very cool. As well, using some Christmas money, I picked up CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS Part 3 as the first two installments were also Christmas presents. Finally, we got the M3 Pro battery for MetaQuest VR. This is a belated Christmas gift to my kids due to some mix-ups over the holidays.
These are all cool items. There’s a vampire Superman on the to-buy list but this collector is waiting for the right time to purchase. This Nightwing figure will definitely be featured in a short reel for a closer look.

In Story Time, Axiom-man returns for a touching superhero adventure where, if he doesn’t work fast enough, blood will be on his hands.

Funko Friday: Star Wars | The Mandalorian Funko Pops Big and Small
Here ya go! Big Funko Pop! Small Funko Pop! All Mandalorian from Star Wars! I love this character and when I pre-ordered the big one, I had no idea it would be as big as it actually was. It was a fun and pleasant surprise. The detail of both Mando and the N1 Starfighter are amazing and so is the droid R5-D4. He looks real good, too.
Awesome.
Hope you enjoy this big Funko to small Funko comparison!
Thanks for checking out these Funko Pops!
