As we edge toward the end of season two of the Realm of Heroes and Monsters: Story Time podcast, author A.P. The Story Behind the Story gives a little history on Fuchs’s background and his family’s involvement with the horrors of World War 2.

Episode 18: Landfill Buffet – A man awakens in a forgotten corner of a garbage dump with a massive refrigerator pinning him from the waist down, trapped. The stench. The disease. The putrid stink of rotting trash. Worse, he’s not alone. Something squeaks . . . and it isn’t a mouse.

Shaking things up a bit, in this episode Fuchs gives a horror story with killer rats and no way out. All it takes is a nibble for them to get a taste for human flesh. A fun horror story and a nice switch-up from your standard monster stories. Fuchs gives a little insight into the tale in Story Behind the Story then has a special message just for you, dear listener, after the credits.
