Coscom Entertainment is pleased to announce that Mothman Emerged by Gina Ranalli is now available.
“Prepare yourself for an intense trip into darkness. Gina Ranalli has given the Mothman an edge that’s both awesome and has teeth.” – Eric S. Brown, author of the Bigfoot War series
Something is amiss in the small town of Lockwood, Washington. Something terrifying has been emerging from the surrounding woods in the dead of night: unspeakable creatures with glowing eyes and razor-sharp talons, swooping down upon unsuspecting citizens on silent black wings.
When the first call comes in, Sheriff Steven Collie scoffs, but soon he and his officers have run-ins of their own, ones that no known science can explain. He quickly becomes a believer of the impossible and when a clandestine branch of the FBI arrives in town to investigate the strange happenings and grotesque deaths, all of Lockwood is under siege and praying for daybreak. |

Paperback ISBN: 978-1-926712-88-8
eBook ISBN: 978-1-926712-89-5Under intense aerial bombardment by the German Luftwaffe, the British government arranges for the most valuable exhibits in the British Museum to be shipped to the Smithsonian for safekeeping. Charged with shepherding the priceless artifacts across the ocean is archeologist Priscilla Stuyvesant. Leaving Great Britain on the Limpkin, an aging freight vessel, the ship is overrun by a gang of Nazi deserters loyal to a doctor exiled from Germany for conducting genetic experiments on his own people. But the desperate deserters aren’t the worst terror on board: three of the exhibits from ancient Egypt return to life. In life, they were the Pharaoh’s most skilled assassins. In death, they are something far more dangerous: undead warriors with mesmeric powers and a thirst for revenge that defies the centuries.

What People Are Saying:
“Intense, sharp, and gut-wrenching, Eternal Unrest sucks you in and holds you tight. I don’t normally read war novels, but this one I couldn’t resist. Dixon knows how to blend horror (mummies!), history, and humanity together to create a powerful merging of the three. Highly recommended!”
-Elizabeth Massie, author of Sineater
“Buckle up, folks… On the heels of putting his stamp on werewolf (Snarl) and zombie (The Lifeless) lore, Dixon now gives us a memorable mummy tale that spans centuries and continents, provides Hollywood-sized action, and shows the author’s aptitude to draw well-developed characters. Eternal Unrest is Dixon’s most ambitious work yet.”
-Harrison Howe, author of R.I.P.“No longer will the Mummy be an over-looked horror trope, I foresee many trying to emulate what Lorne Dixon has created here with Eternal Unrest.”

The Last Coscom Entertainment Release: Bigfoot War 2: Dead in the Woods by Eric S. Brown
For the Entire Coscom Entertainment Monster Fiction Catalog, please go to www.coscomentertainment.com -

The first Bigfoot War book took the cryptozoological horror world by storm. Now Eric S. Brown unleashes his follow-up, Bigfoot War 2: Dead in the Woods, with faster, meaner, more terrifying bloodthirsty sasquatches unlike any you’ve seen before.
This ain’t no Harry and the Henderson’s remix. This isn’t even like Sasquatch Mountain. We’re talking hordes of lean, mean killing machines covered in hair, with razor-sharp teeth and claws that’ll have you running for the door before you even finish the book.
The story:
Mere hours after the Babble Creek massacre, the beasts strike again, rampaging across the American Southeast. A small group of survivors in Jackson County, North Carolina, fight to stay alive as things get worse. Bigfoot is everywhere, terrorizing the citizens of Jackson County, tearing them
limb from limb and feasting on their flesh. Even the powerful US military stands in awe as the enormous beasts take their stand against them, going toe-to-toe with some of man’s most lethal technology.
Just when the survivors thought it couldn’t get any worse, death kicks into high gear as the dead begin to rise, hungry for the flesh of the living.
The military, tasked with restoring order and destroying the beasts, now find themselves racing to contain a virus that could mean the end of the human race. Colonel Drake and the small unit of tanks under his command are trapped inside the quarantine zone as the war between man and beast is
joined by the undead.
The body count rises. Humanity is on the run. The night is filled with terror, the vicious growls of the Sasquatch and the haunting moans of the living dead.
Are you ready to join in the fight?

“With The Weaponer, Eric S. Brown reloads the zombie genre for a take-no-prisoners tale of action, heartbreak and adventure.” – Jonathan Maberry, NY Times bestselling author of Patient Zero and Dead of Night
“If George Romero ever decided to combine Shane and The Road Warrior, he’d probably write something a lot like Eric S. Brown’s The Weaponer.” – Peter Clines, author of Ex-Heroes
“The Weaponer combines the old west with modern technology and an army of the living dead to create a bleak and chilling tale of a post-apocalyptic future. But at its heart, it’s a story about the human will to survive.” – S.G. Browne, author of Breathers
“The Weaponer takes the reader into the remnants of the modern world, where old west values take the place of modern comfort in a land of human savages and the zombie curse. Eric S. Brown sculpts his story like The Weaponer, as ‘an artisan of death.’” – Bowie V. Ibarra, author of the Down the Road Zombie Horror series
Synopsis:
Long after the fall of man, humanity lives sheltered behind a massive wall that encloses the United States’ last survivors of civilization. Outside the wall, the undead rule the world.
Generations have passed and mankind has returned to the technology and life of the Old West, surviving off the land and doing what they can to get by.
Hyattsburg, a haven once thought safe behind the wall, has visitors: hungry zombies.
When an entire family is murdered and partially eaten, Alan, the world’s last remaining Weaponer, is called to duty to aid those struggling to remain safe, as well as find out what happened and if the dead are the only ones to blame for the grisly deaths of innocents.
Terror and zombies rule an Old West Apocalypse in The Weaponer.

This year has been an interesting year for me creatively. I got done more writing this year than I had in 2009. I finished my book, Zombie Fight Night, released it; wrote 95% of Possession of the Dead, released it; edited and compiled my short story collection, Magic Man Plus 15 Tales of Terror, released it; and aside from a week or two here and there, kept up with my weekly installments of Zomtropolis.
All this on top of publishing and marketing books for Coscom Entertainment.
It’s been busy.
Looking ahead to the New Year, I have a pretty good idea what’s going on with me creative-wise, the main things being to write and publish the third and final book in my Undead World Trilogy; finish and publish Zomtropolis; and finish and publish the next Axiom-man novel. Those are priority. Anything else I write is just extra at this point.
Since I do most of my creative writing in the evenings, I need something to do during the dayjob, which is Coscom Entertainment.
So . . .
Next year we’re going to be publishing new novels by Lorne Dixon, Nickolas Cook, Ryan C. Thomas, Keith Gouveia, Eric S. Brown, W. Bill Czolgosz and more.
We’re going to see the mass market release of two Coscom Entertainment mash-ups (the reissues of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Zombie Jim by Mark Twain and W. Bill Czolgosz (April 2011), and Alice in Zombieland by Lewis Carroll and Nickolas Cook (March 2011)), the continuation of the Coscom Entertainment Monster Novella line (the first of which, The Weaponer by Eric S. Brown, is already available on the Kinde here, with the paperback coming next week), more titles in the Coscom Blue Banner Classics line (current ones include, Emma, Persuasion, Mansfield Park and Northanger Abbey, all by Jane Austen), and other extra surprises and fun projects.
It’s going to be busy, but it’s going to be fun, and I hope you stick around for the ride.
And as if that wasn’t crazy enough, I’m going to attempt a regular comic book (probably a new issue every six weeks), and bring Axiom-man to the comic book world on a regular basis. It was comics that got me started in this business and I’ve been itching for the past three years to get hardcore back into it. It’s time I did something about that.
It sounds like a lot–and it is–but I have a plan to help keep things on track, and the support of the best team of authors around. Seriously, those I publish through Coscom Entertainment are amazing men and women who are not only awesome on the page, but also in real life as well. Please support them by checking out their books. They deserve it.
Okay, it’s back to work for me. Hope everyone else is having a productive day as well.

Simon and Schuster“A clever spin on one of the greatest pieces of end-of-the-world fiction ever written, The War of the Worlds Plus Blood, Guts and Zombies actually manages to add another level to Wells’ classic tale of alien invasion. The living dead – an unexpected by-product of the arrival of the aliens – provides a constant threat to human and Martian alike. It’s hard to tell where Wells’ thoughtful prose stops and Brown’s twisted madness begins. The curse of ‘the Dead’ is so cleverly interwoven into the original story that you’ll be checking old copies, convinced the zombies were always there! A mash-up book that’s actually worth reading!” – David Moody, author of Hater and Dogblood
“Like the undead, Eric S. Brown is an unstoppable force in the genre. His fiction consistently delivers jolts to the heart and mind.” – David Dunwoody, author of Empire and Dark Entities
The story:
The invasion begins . . . and the dead start to rise.
There’s panic in the streets of London as invaders from Mars wreak havoc on the living, slaying the populace with Heat-Rays and poisonous clouds of black smoke. Humanity struggles to survive against technology far beyond its own, meeting fear and death at every turn.
But that’s not the only struggle mankind must face. The dead are rising from their graves with an insatiable hunger for human flesh. Friends, neighbours and loved ones lost to the war of the worlds are now the enemy and the Earth is forever changed.
It’s kill or be killed, if you want to survive, otherwise you might become one of the walking dead yourself.

Coscom Entertainment is proud to announce that starting in the next couple weeks it’ll be releasing a whole new series of books–monster novellas.
In today’s market, readers enjoy quick but fun reading, and writers know this, except normally they can’t find a way to reach readers hungry for novella-format books. Usually publishers want either novel-length works, or short stories for anthologies. Very few cater to the novella crowd, and Coscom Entertainment has decided–and has always been its policy–to give readers what they want.
Now that time has come, and debuting in a couple weeks Coscom Entertainment will release the first of its new line of monster-themed novellas: The Weaponer by Eric S. Brown. Following quickly on its heels will be The Black Cat and the Ghoul by Edgar Allan Poe and Keith Gouveia, a unique mashup unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.
Not only will readers now be able to obtain monster fiction in novella format, but each new book in the series will be affordably released packaged with a standard cover with unique imagery embedded within, making the books both gorgeous and collectible for a reader’s shelf or e-library on their favorite eReader.
Coscom Entertainment is excited to launch this new line and can’t wait to see it grow both in its roster of authors, and especially where it matters most: an audience of readers who enjoy monster tales that are good old-fashioned fun, high-octane stories in a handy and collectible format.
Keep watching www.coscomentertainment.com for new releases in this exciting new line of books, or follow us on twitter @mrcoscom for updates.
Thanks.
